Dr. Jamie Schrager provides child therapy in the Upper West Side for children ages 4–12 experiencing anxiety, school avoidance, emotional dysregulation, or social challenges. Therapy is developmentally informed and often includes collaboration with caregivers and schools in Manhattan.

While much of Dr. Schrager’s work centers around children and families, she also provides individual therapy for adults on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) is a parent-based treatment designed to help children and teens with anxiety, OCD, and related challenges — without requiring the child to participate directly in therapy. Developed at the Yale Child Study Center, SPACE empowers parents to reduce anxiety-driven behaviors by changing how they respond to them.
Dr. Jamie Schrager is trained in SPACE and provides this evidence-based treatment to parents and caregivers in New York City, both in person on the Upper West Side and via telehealth throughout New York State.
